Model
GM TDH-4509, a 35 foot transit bus was built between 1949 and 1953. It featured ‘paired windows’, a higher roof line, larger bumpers and a new Hydraulic ‘V’ transmission with angle drive developed by the GM Allison Division. In 1953 it was replaced by modified TDH-4512 model, which was in production until 1959. At total, 2494 TDH-4509 and 3263 TDH-4512 buses were produced for United States and Canadian operators.
