Starting from car 514 (built in 1951) the body design of the FM-class was slightly changed, but overall car proportions remained the same. The last car of FM-class, 546, was built in 1960. The dull gray paint scheme was introduced on the FM class with car 546 in 1960 (the roof color remained the dark gray) and all members of the class were repainted to this color soon.
