To help replace the sixty cars lost in the Woodland depot fire in 1975, SEPTA purchased thirty used cars from Toronto in 1976, nineteen of them were ex-Brimingham Pullmans, built in 1946/47. They were assigned to class A-58 and were numbered 2300-2318. None of them were repainted in the SEPTA colors and all were retired by 1982.
