During the years of DCTS ownership (since 1964), WV&M was a legally separate subsidary company. Their buses were repainted into DCTS two-tone green livery and new 'Virginia Lines' logo was placed on the sides of the buses. In addition to 35 White 798 buses, acquired new by WV&M, 67 more (models 798 and 788) were purchased second-hand in 1947-1961, so there were 102 altogether.
