In 1944 the Kansas City Public Service introduced a second paint scheme on their PCC cars, which was a modified version of the original livery, but lookes much attractive. The post-war all-electric cars (725-799 series), delivered in 1946-47, also had this livery. In the early post-war years the 1941 PCCs were equipped with dash lights and in 1948/49 the tread brakes were replaced by drum brakes.
