In July 1940 Baltimore Transit Co. placed an order to Pullman-Standard for 39 more PCC cars: 20 with GE motors and controls (7034-7053 series) and 19 with Westinghouse equipment (7335-7353 series). Two months later an additional order for 49 cars went to Pullman: 24 GE equipped cars (7054-7077 series) and 25 cars (7354-7378) with WH equipment. In addition to these 88 cars, 20 cars with GE equipment were ordered in January 1941 (7078-7097) and 25 WH-equipped cars were ordered in April 1941 (7379-7403). Deliveries of these orders (133 cars) were started at end of 1940 and continued until 1942. With these cars, routes 4,5,6,14,15,19,29 and 32 were modernized to full or partial PCC operation. This group of cars was similar to original 1939 batch but had many differences.
