In 1964-65 CTA took delivery of latest version of the Flxible 'New Look' buses, numbered in the 3000-3244 series. These were the first buses added to the surface fleet to be painted in CTA's new official color scheme, mint green and alpine white. They were diesel powered with the Detroit Diesel V6.
