The MTV-82 trams served Moscow very well, in 1960s there were some minor exterior modifictions (front chrome plates were omitted, bumper's design was simplified and extra turn lights were installed at front and rear of the cars). The new simplified livery was introduced in 1966 and it was standard by early 1970s. Last MTV-82 tram was withdrawn from revenue service in 1981. Car 1278 has been restored and preserved.
