Model
The trolleybus service in Seattle, WA was inaugurated on 28 April 1940 and during this year 235 vehicles were delivered by Brill (1), PCF-Brill (99; Brill license) and Twin Coach (135). In 1942 Seattle received a next batch of Twin Coaches, model 40GWFT and in 1943 twenty four 43-seat model 44GTT trolleybuses were supplied also by Twin Coach Company. This batch, painted gray, was leased from the Office of Defence Transportation and Seattle brought it in 1947, when the whole batch was repainted in yellow and grey livery, the colour scheme between 1946 and 1954. From this series, Twin Coach No. 955 (later renumbered to 636) is preserved now by Settle Metro Transit.
