The new paint scheme for Philadelphia buses (green with white top and orange beltrail) was introduced with first deliveries of the GM 'king size' coaches in 1955 and it was applied to PCC 2070 which was the only car to carry bus livery in Philadelphia. It was later repainted to the standard livery.
