In December 1945 the Atlantic City urban system was sold to a group of Philadelphia businessman under the name of the Atlantic City Transportation Co. (ACTC). The Brilliners were renumbered into 202-225 series and continued to provide lion's share of transit service on Atlantic Ave. The Brilliners livery was slightly simplified at that time, the silver stripes along car body were omitted. The trolley service in Atlantic City was ended in December 1955. Failing to find a buyer for the Brilliners (while Public Service of New Jersey expressed an interest for them in 1952), ACTC sold them for scrap in 1956. ['The Miss America Fleet' lettering is available on order, original front door's upper windows configuration will be retain on this verion].
