In July 1940 Baltimore Transit Co. placed an order to Pullman-Standard for 39 more PCC cars: 20 with GE motors and controls (7034-7053 series) and 19 with Westinghouse equipment (7335-7353 series). Two months later an additional order for 49 cars went to Pullman: 24 GE equipped cars (7054-7077 series) and 25 cars (7354-7378) with WH equipment. In addition to these 88 cars, 20 cars with GE equipment were ordered in January 1941 (7078-7097) and 25 WH-equipped cars were ordered in April 1941 (7379-7403).
