In December 1938 Baltimore Transit Co. placed an order to J.G. Brill Co. for same Brilliner car, which was delivered to Baltimore in 1939. After delivery, the Brilliner operated along with the 40 Pullman-Standard PCCs on the No.8 line. The Brilliner was delivered in the Alexandria Blue and cream colors with orange stripe below the beltrail but including the beltrail on each side of the car and with pearl gray roof.
