The last groups of the double-end Jones low-floor cars were built for Pittsburgh Railways Co. in 1915 (Pressed Steel or Standard Steel, there is a conflict in records) and in 1917 (St.Louis Car Co.). The first group was numbered 4300-4349 and second 4350-4399. These one hundred cars were built with single-stream front doors but later they were equipped with double-stream front doors to enable one-man operation in high traffic conditions (only 25 cars from 4300-4349 group were converted; they were also received K-35 controls). 13 cars of 4350-4399 group received K-35 controls and high speed motors, being allocated to Glenwood Car House. The remaining cars of this group were retrofitted with HL controls. First cars of 4300-4349 batch were scrapped in 1935, but one-man cars remained in service until 1953. The 4350-4399 series cars lasted until 1956. Cars 4353-54,4360-61, 4363, 4371-72, 4375, 4378-79, 4383-84, 4389 were assigned to Washington city service and cars 4318, 4350, 4357, 4359, 4361, 4369, 4386 and 4387 were used on Donora service. Donora's car 4387 also ran in Washington, with paper signs.
